Topic: weekly group meeting

note: sentence in parenthesis is what i have in mind

Mgr: xxx, you wanna go first?

Me: (damnit, every time i have to go first)  sure.  i have done testing trades in book abcd, and everything looks fine.  no big changes or anything.  it's just a matter of time to push into the production after it gets approved by the portfolio director.  i will follow up with him today.

Mgr: good.  show me the testing results today.

Me: sure (yeah, that will never happen)

Me [continue]: i bumped into issues with the next one as i need lot of support from the IT dept.  they didnt seem collaborate too much since it's not on their priority list.  i need your help to talk to their head IT.

Mgr: hmm...okay, i will talk to him (writing down the note on his notebook)

Me: good (lets see how long its gonna take)

Mgr: go on...

Me: i did little bit on the next one last week.  i think im in good shape to wrap it up this week.

Mgr: great, that's very good, since these numbers are critical to both senior mgmt and .... group for .... purposes

Me: absolutely (but i think they prefer to see colorful graphs and charts)

Mgr: here are the new things for you (then start explain why this and that)

Me: nod nod, yes yes, oh, oh...

I can go on and on for another few hundreds sentences here, but i think most of you have already bored.  so im gonna stop here
