topic 1: 去一个朋友的朋友的儿子的bday party（第一次见），他要上我的车把我带到停车位
他上车
he: nice car!
me: thanks. actually it's my husband's. i stole it today, haha. mine is a PT cruiser. my friends all say it's hideous, but i call it my cute little car~
he: haha
he saw the the sticky with directions to his place.
he: huh, you still do it the old fashioned way!
me: yea, i have a GPS but it's just too slow. when you don't follow it's route, it starts recalculating and never stops...
he: em...

topic 2: 还在那个bday party, 看见一漂亮黑mm
me: hi. which one is your kid?
she: that one over there... kk
me: she's very pretty. is she your only child?
she: thank you~~ no. i have another little girl. my husband is taking care of her at home. you know, kids need to take a nap.
me: ya. how old is kk?
she: 4 and half
me: how did you know xxx(the host)?
she: kk and aa(birthday boy) go to the same pre-school. and we go to the same church as well
me: ohh. where do you live?
she: you know xx drive?
me: xx canyon? I go there a lot for the workshops!
she: yea!
me: how long have you been here in xx?
she: almost a year. before here, we lived in LV.
me: is it always hot there?
she: ya. but it's more humid. you're always sweaty and blahblah
me: ya, i guess dry heat is better than humid heat.

 这个，情况有点复杂，就是跟俩不熟的男生聊strip club。不记得怎么说起来的了，应该是刚开始他们俩在说，后来我插话
me: I went to Deja Vu （a chain strip club）last weekend!!
them: wow. did you go there alone or....?
me: of course with my friends, guys and girls.
them: did you enjoy it? is that your first time?
me: ya, it was my first time and I enjoyed it.
them: did your husband go with you?
me: no, but he has been there several times, well, not exactly that club thou
them: wow, and he told you that?
me: yea, that was before we met.
them A: you know, women always say you need to be honest, and you can tell them everything, but when you do, they get crazy.
them B: yea, there is one time i'm with my buddies, they wanted to go to little darling or sth. i called my gf and said, honey, they're going to little darlings. i need to go with them, but i won't do anything i promise. I thought i was being honest by telling her. but she was so mad at me.
them A: my wife wouldn't even think about it. say your husband calls you right now. he says: sweetie, i'm going to a strip club. what would you say?
me: can i go with you?
we all lol
them A: can you talk to my wife? haha

topie 4: 上课跟同学聊天
me: what do you do in the afternoon? I feel i have nothing to do after school. I'm so bored.
she: i go to the gym sometimes.
me: which gym? that 24 fitness down the street?
she: ya! you go there too?
me: no. Fiona (another classmate) goes there everyday!
she: really. i've never seen her there
me: she said she goes everyday and usually after school.
she: maybe because i just started going there two weeks ago. i feel good after workout.
me: good for you. i'm just too lazy to work out.
she: you can do some yoga.
me: ya, i used to do yoga when i was in China. but here I only do stairmasters and threadmill and that bicycle machine.
she:oh.

topic 5: talk about job hunting with classmates
me: i've been sending out resumes on craigslist, and got no responses.
she: same here. i had a degree in law in Brazil and i'm saving money to get my master's or something so i can become a paralegal. you know paralegal right?
me: ya, i saw some commercial on tv about some paralegal programs, but i'm not sure if they're good.
she: when i was here two years ago, i wanted to get an internship here to see how the law practice in the US is like. i sent out emails saying i don't need money. you don't need to pay me. i just want to experience and things like that. but nobody cared. there is only one person who is also from Brazil offered me an internship in his company. i worked there for a month. it was great experience.
me: ya, he is a great guy.
