我老板和另一个同事本来都是Manager。我
老板负责做Colorado和另外一些比较琐碎的事
情。那个同事负责Hawaii and Oregon

最近那个同事被提拔成 director, 并且他的责任
包括 Colorado, Hawaii and Oregon.
大老板可能觉得对不起我老板，所以声称我
老板并不report to 这个新提拔的同事，
而是另外一个老资格的director.问题
是那个老 director 的责任范围与我老板做的事情
都没有什么关系。

上周五我们开了一次会，讨论Colorado要
做的事情，并且定下来每件事都是谁来负责，以
及两周之后再开一次会来讨论。这周我老板是假期。

今天那个新被提拔的同事来找我，让我把手头
的事情交给他的手下来干，我去帮助他做一
件别的事情。我现在正在做的deadline 是6/1，而
他让我去做的是7/1 due. 感觉他的主要意图是把所
有与Colorado有关的事情抓到手里，这样我老板就
顺理成章的变成他的下级，或者被气走。

罗哩罗嗦说半天，主要想请教一下，这种情况下我
该怎么办？

I would send an email to my direct boss talking about this and ask for his advice - although I may choose not to follow, but I do want to know what he thinks.

And, the direct boss may choose to leave after a while, so, don't oppose to the new director's direction...

well, of course you have to inform your current manager know before transfer the task to him. This is a war between your manager and the new director.
