I want to buy a digital camera for a friend,
I saw this Minolta S414, 4MP, 4x zoom only 250$.(so cheap?)

Generally, it is comparable with those you have used, so not much surprise. For such a great price, it is worth the money.

But it is also worth holding the money and wait, since the price is dropping everyday. If you really like photograph, why go to a cheap DSLR, like Canon 300D or Nikon D70.
