我爸妈就喜欢美国清静，最不喜欢国内一堆人聚在一起吃吃喝喝，所以一直想最后移民过来和我们一起住。我们也想给他们买Obamacare，但是现在这个policy出来，绿卡申请要评估public charge likelihood, 估计绿卡申请都过不了，还怎么买Obamacare😭

搞错了吧，你是担保人，拿到绿卡以后才问他们的收入

他们不能拿自己的收入担保自己的

这点一直没变过，以前给父母申请绿卡也有收入线的，所以很多人花钱找担保

就算是退休金超过贫困线的125%，也不一定来得了。收入过线仅仅是不会一下就被拒。以后申请绿卡要看各自因素，比如年龄，会不会英语，健康状况，教育水平等。像中国退休老人，基本没有在美国就业的能力，而且年纪也大，所以很容易就被认为将来会成为public charge了。而且美国贫困线标准每年都要上调，而人民币汇率持续下滑，所以说不定今年你家老人刚刚过线，再拖两年申请绿卡时已经不达标了。家里老人没钱的，死了心吧，没戏。那些已经上车的老人，恭喜了，您福利接着吃。

我晕，第一次听说给爹妈申请绿卡要会不会英语的，入公民才要求英语测试，但是70岁还是多少岁可以waive掉的。我妈面试的时候直接有翻译，而且我记得很清楚，还提供，广东话，福州话，温州话，台山话的翻译。
也第一次听说要教育水平的。。。唯一的要求就是，子女是公民，可以提供经济担保

这几天板上哪里来的这么多莫名其妙的人啊

而且担保是子女担保，你爹妈都没合法居留资格，怎么来担保自己的合法居留资格啊，莫名其妙
