Bought 2018 Ford Explorer XLT + 202A + Smart & Safety Package last month for $42000 OTD with 0% finance. So far, so good. Spacious, nice vision on the road, comfortable on rough road condition. Nobody can tell you about reliability about 2019 since it just went on sale in September. Difference between 2018 and 2019 is BLIS is availabe in 202A package in 2019, and in 2018, you have to get Smart and Safety package. Everything else should be very similar. 2019 will be the last model in this generation. I would go with 2018 if you can get a good price.
