it's less than one year contract job. i don't like it very much. not sure if i will take it.  but if it's good pay, then i may . is it reasonable to ask for a 60/hr rate?

Pay depends on your major. In general, pay should be full time permanent job + 30%.I am doing a contract job for a wage a lot less than pay for a permanent job, just because I am in a major with very little job opportunity.
