大概是因为中国的老年人基本上都没有真正意义上的医学“出生证”吧，所以需要提供额外的文件支持。

请问这个额外的文件是指的户口本吗？

难道没收到出生证明？

出生公证是有寄过去的，但是还被要求RFE

对啊，不是说了就是让你交户口本复印件么，当然，要翻译的

我也是这样的感觉，可能是他们把出生公证书弄丢了，你再交一份出生公证就行了。
