我现在负责的工作用到组里一个同事的程序。
现在有问题,老板给我发信了,还cc给很多人。
实际上是因为同事的那部分有问题造成的。
之前,我发现那个同事的程序有问题,已经发email告诉他了(但是没有cc给其他人),并请他改一下,可是他没有改。
我收到老板的信之后觉得有些难受和冤枉,因为不是我自己这部分的原因造成的。
请问这种情况,如何回信说明比较妥当呢?
我不想回避、推脱责任,但也不想替别人承担责任。
我和那个同事还比较熟,也不想就这样把他“推出去”...

1.fix the problem together with your colleague ASAP.
2.explain the situation clearly and briefly without mentioning people's names. focusing on "the problem is now fixed".
if your colleague is a decent person, he would probably explain this to your boss himself.

Put myself in your shoes, I would probably talk to your colleague ASAP and explain the situation, then "reply all" indicating that you and colleague are working on that issue and try to solve the problems ASAP. In that way, people will know that it was not your fault yet you and your colleague are trying to solve the problems. I wouldn't count on your colleague to tell others that it was him who messed up......
