另一个组，是做数据库开发的，最近需要招几个新人，我来说说听到的只言片语，

因为他们组里有附近不错学校毕业的，所以group leader就让这些人，把招人的消息发到那几个program学生的email list 里面去。大头自己也把消息发到一些专业的forum里面，还发到了craglist(?). team里面也有同事推荐自己的熟人来面试。

大头想要的，技术过硬当然是最重要的，但是他最care的是，要学的快，因为很多东西还要training的。第二，要可以和别人交流。当然，越随和有趣，越好。这一条，外国人真的是劣势，聊天时候就看出来了。工作性质决定了这个position必须是肩并肩的和同事每天共处12个小时以上，所以性情很重要的。第三，really enjoy the job.

当然，名校毕业头也很看中。reputation在那呢。还有啊，junior position，真的是越年轻越好。

有道理，怎么看出一个人会不会enjoythe job?

年轻是很重要，谁愿意juniorposition找个岁数很大的人呢？其实蜜果也是有年龄歧视的，有些高级干部块五十岁了拼死跳槽就是觉得再不挑这辈子就没发展了

To show that you can learn fast and you will enjoy:

Ask a technical question of the project (which the candidate is expected to work on);

once being answered, showing that you understand maybe part of it, then ask

another question maybe on the part you don't understand or some further

discussion. Whenever people give some good/samrt point technically, say 'intersting'

and give a facial expression of being fascinated (practice it at home).
