可以看看Bill Bryson的书，语言比较精炼直白，实用性强。 William Zinsser 的On writing well是专门讲提高写作能力的。

英文写作的经典，就是稍微有点枯燥，但很实用：《The Elements of Style 》by William Strunk Jr (Author)

儿童书经典《charlotte's web 》by E.B.White，也是写作的典范啊。
