There are always twists and turns. Believe me, you're much better than many ppl like me. I didn't really know what I really interested even after a long time after abroad. If I were you, I'd stay here and since for the incoming semester, you set up a goal for you to transfer to another program or another school, you could just achieve an above average or an average scores for the courses you're gonna take. Some schools admit students in the spring semester. Try to focus on those ones if you don't want to waste time.
I really don't think going back is a good idea if you want to apply to another program. Being here and talking to admission offices or even go talk to them face2face is a big advantage for applying. Besides, some schools' accounting programs have at least half tuition waiver, and you might want to try that...
