Similar here. My first one only cost me $200 total. This one, with the new insurance, it will be $2,000 out of pocket plus copay in 2012 and $2,000 out of pocket plus copay in 2013. So expensive!

自己出的是不是就是max out of pocket?前几天看版上讨论保险，我特地去查了下。我的保险是deductible 1000,out of pocket 2000. 本来我也没觉得特别好，但是我的ob诊所在我第一次visit的时候问我要了保险信息，然后给我一张estimated的费用。说如果顺产，包括routin visit,physician's delivery, one post partum visit,的总费用是3550. 因为deductible是1000,然后保险自付10%(有些是100%cover,有些是最多付10%),最后算下来我预计要付的总费用是1124(=1000 deductible + 124 10%的自付部分. 而且同意我们到明年调整了FSA再付，所以目前为止，我啥钱也没出过，也没收到过帐单。

不知道还有没有什么隐形消费的。如果没有，真只要这么多钱的话，看来我们的保险还不错了。
