去年经常在国外，但是没有一次超过6个月，面试的时候面试官很注意这个问题，向我要了很多材料来证明我还有居住在美国的意向。有相似情况尽量多带材料，比如：
the kids' school proof,
your employment proof,
the 529 saving statement (esp. during the absence),
retirement plan statement (during the absence),
the letter from your boss,
house title,
car proof, insurance proof,
any utility payment during the absence,
bank statement,
salary/income in usa,

I brought all the above and finally the officer was satisfied and said "I am responsible"
