同时我在网上看中了一颗hearts and arrows cut，F color，VS1 clarity，0.38
carat的钻石(polish excellent/symmetry excellent/fluorescence none)，要价
折合8000元。最后组装钻石和戒圈，360元运输费，10%宝石进口税，15%本地消费税，
最后算下来这枚engagement ring花了近14000元。26.5%的税收实在是让人心痛，所
以能在本地买最好在本地买，而且以后的清洗保养改圈尺寸等等服务都很方便。
After I read this article again, i think this is more like a retail price vs. whole sell price. The ring i bought is G, VS1, 1 carat, H&A, and it only cost me around 8G, nt to mention the ring would cost me a few more bux. Also, since am dealing with the outstate internet sell, i didnt have to pay for the tax even though i went to NY store to pick the ring i wanted, they just mailed it to me, so it become a internet sell. and that's it, save those big tax.
I choose that VS1 is cause the only feather we had is so close to the edge, and no other dirts. And for G by itself wont see the light yellow at all, but what you see is just H&A's great reflection.
