I am really touched by so many warm-hearted suggestions. I feel motivated now. :) Thank you guys so much for encouraging me for this "big move". I really really appreciated.

I am thinking if it is hard to find the apt information.

不懂，找工作不都靠上网么？不在CA也可以找呀？我的CA的朋友让我用她家的地址。不知有没有用处。

I also use friends' address. The HR will call you to set up an interview. If you said you are not there right now they will say sth like: "y don't you give us a call when you move here"which means local candidates only. If you tell them you are there while you are not, they will not pay you anything for the interview.
