Send them an email, with subtle hint that you have other offers at hand and need to make the decision asap.
That's the best way to get their response, if they are still interested in you. If still no response, you'd better just move on.....
BTW, did you ask them how soon they would get back to you after the onsite? If it does take long usually, then hold on for 1 more week.
By positive, do you mean your feeling or that's what they told you? And they have checked your reference? If they have then it IS very positive.
En....can be wrong but I personally don't I suggest to call them 2 days in a row. At least hold until next Monday?
I can understand your feeling. I was in the exact same shoes last week. And when I actually received the offer, I just don't feel excited at all because of the tedious waiting.

You are almost there. I believe they are just closing up some standard procedures, which nobody can really help including your future boss. That's a big company, right?
In my case I got the offer 2 weeks and a half later. But they did the reference check after onsite, and the HR gave me 3 follow-up calls, asking questions like my preference of the team and supervisor, cuz I met with several managers from different teams.
Just be patient. Don't try to call/email them, at least for this week. Most of the chances are they won't response.
I think you are right. Another friend told me to hold till next MOnday. I was too anxious.
Thanks for chatting with me. I feel better now.

i saw a little bit of your post that I guess you didn't set the meili to it correctly. from what I can see, i guess you are also waiting for a company making the decision, right?
I just had an interview yesterday, and today i feel i am in a deep suffering, since I heard of a lot stories about receiving offer right after the interview, the longer you wait, the less chance you get the offer. I just wish I am wrong.
I totally understand your feeling and wish you all the best!!!!
Thank you, MM. I apolpgize if you cant see the post. Yes, I am waiting for them to make a hiring decision.
I knew the standard waiting is about two weeks, but I just cant seem to wait.
The last company I interviewed with gave me a call the next afternoon making an offer. I turned them down after a week's deliberation. They didnt pay me well enough.
MM, i wish you best of luck. Take it easy. Worrying wont change a thing. hehehe.//sigh I say this to you, and I worry every day.
You are welcomed. You just need someone to chat with to release the anxiety.
It's not always true, but usually it does take longer for bigger companies cuz they need to follow the procedure.
Thanks for understanding and the generous comfort.
Yes, it is a big company. The big big boss said that the girl who is in charge is on her honeymoon. Later when speaking to the HR i talked to, he said he could do it. I will wait till next Tuesday. I still secretly hope the offer letter arrives without any trace.
我现在和MM真是同病相怜。我上周四onsite的,当时他们说下周就会call top candidates,现在已经过去整整一周了,明天下午如果没消息的话估计我也忍不住要打电话问了。
对了,我写了4封thank you letter,收到两封回信,其中一封是hiring manager的,她说“i should know more about this position and will let you know",不知道算不算是个positive sign. 另一个人回信说"wish you much success in this process and in all your future endeavors", 我一看这话有觉得悬。。。哎,好难熬啊!
Those are general response. It doesn't mean anything. Most likely the decision hasn't been made and the interviewers are wishing everyone good luck. Here you have mine too.
Just keep on looking ba. I will send out more applications this weekend.
