犯罪记录啊，以前在哪儿住过啊，反正我的两次北京调查都是这样的。

谢谢mm的回复。真的就查这些吗？我是phd在读，要毕业了，但系里不高兴大家去industry,所以如果他们打电话给我advisor,她是不会说我好话的，mm知不知道这个background check 还包不包括向你的前employer（in my case, it's my department)打听你的情况啊？

这个我不知道，我的background调查跟你的情形很相似，不过我advisor知道。他们调查完了有时候会跟你寄一份copy, 没有跟学校有关的冬冬，就是我在美国用过的地址，以及经过调查我没有犯罪记录，虽然是好几页纸，但是就这么点二东西。一个记录占了很大的一个空白table,呵呵。我问过一次advisor,好像就要推荐信的时候联系过他。

really? [em09] [em09] hmmm I only had intern experience before my last background check, so I guess that didn't count? maybe they didn't include that part in the copy they sent me.
