咨询了 Fidelity consultant. 现在钱转到 Fidelity后啥也不用买，会自动放到 money market fund，然后就会有 5% 利息。好处是随时可取出。坏处是不知道 5% 利率能持续多久。

大家谁研究过，有啥风险吗？谢谢！

FZDXX is at 5.2% with intial funding of 100K (which means afterwards you can draw down).

If you buy 30 day treasury you get around 5.5% (treat it as 30 day CD without credit risk) and the interest is state tax free.

yes. for an example in California, top state tax is 13.3% so going with treasury has significent benefits over money market/cash. Also treasury is liquid which means one can sell on weekdays (potentially with capital gain or loss) in the secondary market.
