关于申请BOA账户的补充:

"online application for Boa checking, u can choose PR with green card, I just chat with online RP. Pls find following chatting record:

In order to apply for an account online, we require: (a) A current physical U.S. residence address, and you have been in the US for at least one year (b) A social security number (must be a U.S. Citizen, or legal resident), and (c) That you must be 18 or older. As long as you meet the above criteria's and you have a state issued ID you can select the permanent resident with the green card option. "

去柜台申请的话,对于新客户,有SSN/护照(有MM反映SSN,护照,签证同时需要),DL,再准备一张其它信用卡,就可以了,而且貌似柜台开户不会查信用报告的

老客户的话,有SSN/护照,再提供已有的账号就可以了

账户要求:

这个好像不同州的要求不一样,我们这里的学生账户是头6个月免费,但是6个月后每月要有一次DD,但有的州是5年免费的

其它一般的CHECKING账户都有最低要求的,筒子们申请的时候一定要问清楚你们那里的规定

开户以后:

如果你有别的BOA的账户并且已经用他们的online banking，第二天应该就可以看见在你的personal accounts里面又多了一个新账户.不过一周左右就可以收到welcome envelope了

不过学生账户的那个他们没有改,是5年免费的,其它目前还没有发现太大改动

TIP:露珠的LG用100 MYA 申请的BOA 账户（MyAccess），已经拿到１００块钱（posted to account）。当时他申请的时候那个好心的 associate 叫我老公先申请 MyAccess（允许两个月后再开始 DD）。然后在50天之内会收到 bonus。等收到bonus 后再转成 student 账户。这样既不用 bother 弄DD，也不用拿很多钱去开 regular checking（$1500 minimum）账户。

   EZ Checking, there are three ways to avoid monthly fees: Make two bill payments, use Direct Deposit, or maintain a $1,500 combined average balance during the statement period

Citi-online checking，如果想免月费，有三个途径(满足其一即可)，

1、monthly balance >= $1,500.00

2、direct deposit >= 1次

3、on-line bill-pay >= 2次

每个月用它pay credit cards，钱不够，从另外一个银行转。到一年期满，要cancel的时候，rep告诉我三个条件都满足，显然他们将转钱也算作direct deposit。

实在没有CC的话,就每个月给自己pay两张支票,再billpay里边把自己或者朋友设成payee,citi给你寄支票,据说也是可以的

 补充:

citi 200bonus 100+100 可以电话申请,相对简单，只要6个月。60天内fund at least $1500,then u can get 1st $100,bill pay 6个月（两次每月）或者6个月direct deposit再得100刀。

TIP: 可以将$1500存成CD, 这样既拿利息, 又免月费----开一个CD,从checking存入1500,都在你的名下, cd 和 checking combine在一起, 可以online 操作. 现在citi的cd 利息可以和ing抗衡了.

I called the citi, this tip still works. I have the same question, how can I combine my accounts together to maintain the combined banlance above $1500? The live chat told me I have to request account linked by telephone, but the customer service told me it's not necessary since I opened my accounts all from citi.com so the accouns should have been linked already. I'm confused.
