I have the same experience for so many times. I once read an scientific article about this phenomenon. Long stroy short: it is because certain type of nerves in our brain is shorter than the other ones. Sometime when we see something, the signal transfer faster to our brain than to our eyes. So by the time the nerves connecting to our eyes transfer the signal to our brain, we feel like we have experienced what we are seeing now in the past.
