A screenshot that went viral online shows that two Microsoft employees, "Haonan Li" and "Run Yang", defending villagers who assist human trafficking in China, as well as calling it "funny".
The incident the two Microsoft employees were discussing has been reported by various news media. Here is the report by BBC. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-60194080. In short, a victim of human trafficking was forced to give birth to 8 children, had all her teeth pulled out(likely because teeth are her only defense against rape). The village has long been famous for human trafficking and local villagers would even forcefully prevent any attempt of resucing human traffick victims.
As you can see in the screenshot, Haonan Li and Run Yang explicitly stated that they are Microsoft employees when they made the statements.
