Remember

Remember me when I am gone away, 

Gone far away into the silent land; 

When you can no more hold me by the hand, 

Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay. 

Remember me when no more day by day 

You tell me of our future that you plann''d: 

Only remember me; you understand 

It will be late to counsel then or pray. 

Yet if you should forget me for a while 

And afterwards remember, do not grieve: 

For if the darkness and corruption leave 

A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,

英国十九世纪女诗人罗塞蒂这首诗很有名，她写此诗时还未满20岁！诗歌语言比较晦涩，何况一百多年前的英文，我看了诗解才完全看懂字面意思。

这是一首爱情💓诗（our future that you planned)，一般解释是诗人想象自己死掉了(gone far away into the silent land)对情人要说的话。但我认为“死亡”也可以是象征性的语言，不是躯体的真死而是感情上的死，总之是个💔失恋的诗无疑

诗前七行一直劝爱人（or soon-to-be former lover, due to death or other circumstances )记住自己，后七行来个转弯，要是没有好的记忆，还是忘记的好
