here is a list I can think of:

1.reserve your disney park dates as soon as after you buy your park tickets. without a reservation, you can't enter the park even if you have a paid ticket.

2. install the disney app on your phone, because the app is super useful to pay for fast pass for rides and check wait time.

3. I loaded digital tickets to my iphone wallet, but I found a physical card is better and you can get one from the guest relations once you enter.

4. I tried both pre-order food on the Disney app, pick up later, and go to buy food when we eat. I personally didn't find that makes a huge difference at peak time, because the pick up line was quite long and slow, one time when I pre-ordered on the app. so the best option is to avoid the peak time to get food.

5. some popular rides have really long wait time, it's totally worth it to pay for the lightening pass. e.g. the Avatar ride in animal kingdom normally has 2-3 hours wait time for a few minute ride. No way, my kids can wait that long, before they go crazy, they would drive me crazy first. even the lightening line is average 20-30 minutes for very popular rides. again, use your Disney app to check wait time for all the rides before you go.

6. because I had to use my phone throughout the day to book rides, check wait time, etc. it runs out power quickly. so bring your charger and a battery to charge your phone when you can charge either from a wall plug or charge from your battery.

7. we didn't rent a car, so we used uber and lyft all the time. compare prices from both app before you book the ride, because I found at night time, uber charge much higher than Lyft. for example, Uber showed a 20 minutes ride at $130, while lyft showed me $35 for the same ride at night time. in the morning, the prices are comparable. btw, the driver told me the surcharge doesn't go to driver, it goes to the company. not sure how reliable that info is. so if it's true, more reason to compare prices.

have a good time.
