If you want to jump for industry, you can find a postdoc position in big company. It will be easy to get a permanent job after couple of years industry experience.

Master level is easy to get into industry for sure. Research associate (RA), Senior RA, associate scientist are the usual path for coporate ladder. Salary is good but it usually requires lots of bench work. But so what. Bench work can be interesing too.

For ph.D, usually bench work is not required much. You will be responsible for overall designing, consulting, and data analysis more then doing the acutal bench work which tecnicians and RAs usually will do.

There is a will, there is a way. Don't worry!
