老房子换掉了所有的窗户，当时找了几个公司报价，总结一下经验：

1. 有执照的公司，不一定买了 worker's compensation，如果有工伤事故，房主有责任的。网上可以查到 license information，举例如下：

This license is exempt from having workers compensation insurance; they certified that they have no employees at this time.

2. 有的不管申请 permit ，要求我们自己申请，或者另外加 $300。
3. 有的窗户的 warranty 跟人，房子卖掉以后新的 owner 不享受 warranty。我后来选的是卖房一个月之内可以免费 transfer warranty.
4. 有的窗户品牌 warranty 包括玻璃打破的 coverage，有的品牌要另外购买。
