I open an ING account last week (that $50 award account)

ING sent me an e-mail (the email I register on ING when I apply to opan the Account ) and ask me to call them to confirm something.

I called yesterday and was asked all details, such as name, birth date, address, SSN#

Then, the ING staff told me they can not verify my SSN#. I need to fax the ssn# card to some number or mail a copy of my SSN# card to a PO box in Minisota......

Anyone open ING account has the same story?

Is it fraud?
