It takes two things to make a happy couple: right person and right time. Your EX was the right person but you two met at the wrong time. That is why it was so painful and hard to end.
I love your words and I share your feeling. It is a bless to have memory like this. My Ex and I lasted 6 years until after I came to US. It ended with his accidental death. Now, I still can't believe it and I still think it was just a nightmare and he is still there on the other side of the earth and waiting for me. But I can't reach him forever. I 'd rather keep it this way to give myself room for peace.
