之前准备材料的时候用的是本版上一个姐妹分享的材料清单，现在父母的绿卡批了，上来汇报一下。

我在纽约，今年四月入籍后就开始准备给父母办绿卡。4月30日去邮局寄出申请材料，5月10来号（具体哪天不记得了）收到receipt，5月20号左右收到打指纹的通知。6月1号打指纹，然后系统里一直没有状态更新。上周五（9/16）下午先是收到短信和邮件通知“card/document production”，然后晚上I-131和I485又有“post decision activity” 更新，告知两个都批了。


最后祝愿版上其他还在绿卡道路上的姐妹们都顺利申请到绿卡。

我父母都在纽约。他们的签证已经过期了，但是交了绿卡申请就可以继续留在美国等。

出生公证没有时效性，我的是10几年前办的，都可以用。SSN我还没有办，据说是两个星期就可以拿到。
