Unfortunately, you gotta be patient. I think US immigration office overall is much more efficient that Canadian's. My Canadian citizenship process took about 3 years and a half. Much longer than 2 years of average processing time. I didn't get it until I moved over to the States. Totally nuts. My PR process in US is much much faster than my experience in Canada. Butt really wonder what caused your delay.
