On May 19 news from volunteer
On the day when the order of retreating was issued, I believed there were still survivors under the rubbles, unfortunately we have to retreat...
Around 7, 8 o'clock last night, I met a group of young fellows from rescue team in Beichuan. They brought with them advanced rescue equipments and rescue dogs. They walked out of the rubbles disappointedly. They dug into the 3-story collapsed building in Qushan middle school to search and rescue, but they could not detect any vital signs. They said that they will search in the evening again. Everybody in the team was extremely disappointed. Why not let such a well equipped troop in the disaster area earlier?
About the medical supplies, our supply manager had already secured a quite stable medicine wholesaler, therefore for now we do not need any medicine resource information, many thanks!
