My two cents.

I should say ranking for library school (MLIS, MLS) isn't so important as that for Ph.d programs. But be sure it is an ALA-credited MLIS/MLS program, otherwise it is almost impossible for you to work in library.

Usually, there are three areas you may get into after graduation, which are academic library, public library, and industry. Finding a job depends on your background. If

(1) you have other master degree, it is much easier for you to find a job which is related to your background. Ph.D. is even better. Academic library often provides tenure track for librarian. They are equal to professors.

(2) you are/were in computer science related field, find a IT job is more suitable and easier for the Chinese. Many opportunies in the above three areas, especially in public library.

(3) you have some background in English literature (especially children literature) and are interested in education, public library is good place for you. There are many opportunities for children's librarian there. For those have experience in Children edu, good choice.

(4) you like industry, second degree (B.A. sometimes ok), such as Chemistry, Biology, Medical, etc, can be useful for special librarian. You can find a job in big company.

However, sallary for librarian isn't high. The entry level is around 35,000. Salary for the tenture librarian in academic library is same as professors'.
