All candidates for this position will need to demonstrate extensive laboratory experience and skills in the field of molecular biology. In particular, the candidates are expected to have broad knowledge and practical experience with PCR including primer design, optimization of reaction conditions, product clean-up procedures and product quality assessment. Proven experience working with low abundance and/or unconventional nucleic acid samples is a plus. In addition, broad knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of DNA/RNA processing enzymes and methods is required. Important is also considerable experience with the use of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and robotics.   

The candidate is expected to apply his/her knowledge and experience to propose novel technical solutions, and possess the necessary skills to communicate ideas and proposals to management team members. The position will involve substantial amount of experimental laboratory work, however an important part of the responsibilities will include independent experimental planning, extensive data analysis and reporting of results to company management team and on occasion to external clients
