Canadian citizen can work with a T1 visa. The pro:T1 is classified as sponsership not required by most HR. The con: T1 has to be renewed annually by landing Canada, and those who apply for a T1 visa must be working on a major he has got a degree. Say, one can not apply for T1 with a Computer Science offer but got no relative degree.
I guess there is no similiar treaty between US and Australia or US and EU.
