我的两年绿卡06/2017过期，在03/2017的时候递交了转十的申请，然后在03/28/17也收到了延长信,把信的复印件给公司了。前两天收到公司HR的信跟我说我现在的work authorization 到3/28/2018。我想是不是公司搞错了（我会明天去问HR），一年延长不应该是到06/2018么？不会是从那封延长信的时间算起吧。另外，我想去约infopass 盖章继续延长，想问问这个盖章有没有时间限制的，比如说要三个月之内（如果是六月份过期，现在还有五个多月，能不能能盖章等等）？
有遇到过类似情况的朋友帮忙提供一下信息吗？非常感谢！

你把延长信给公司干嘛？你有绿卡，无论是2年获10年的，就是证明永久工作允许。公司之后就不能再确认你的身份了。

你给你公司你的无限制的Social Security卡和驾照就行了（无限制的Social Security卡是I-9的List C document；驾照是list B document）。不要给绿卡。这就不会遇到公司错误觉得你工作允许在某个日期过期了。

不是吧，两年绿卡没过期前就收到公司发的信，说work authorization 到 06/2017（ 绿卡过期的时间）， 所以我才给他们延长信的。

公司这样做是错的。无论多少年的绿卡都不应该reverify。如果他们要求reverify绿卡但是不要求reverify美国护照，那就是违法的身份歧视。

There are different versions of Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card. Some Permanent Resident Cards may contain no expiration date, a 10-year expiration date, or a two-year expiration date. 但是你给了延长信现在他们就要reverify，因为延长信不算绿卡。

最好是用Social Security card。那样公司不会出这样的错误，因为Social Security card本身就没有过期日期。
