我填表的时候在I 131 instruction里看到这句，关于提交

Initial Evidence.

Advance Parole Document for Individuals Who Are Currently in the United States

If you are in the United States, you must attach:

(1) A copy of any document issued to you by USCIS showing your present status, if any, in the United States; and

(2) An explanation or other evidence showing the circumstances that warrant issuance of an Advance Parole Document; or

......

我是准备写一封信作为explanation。

但是参考到上面提的，“Form I-485, and you seek to travel abroad temporarily for “urgent humanitarian reasons” or in furtherance of a “significant public benefit,” which may include a personal or family emergency or bona fide business reasons.”，

我觉得一般的理由很难被当作urgent reasons，除非提供一些材料支持。这也可能是为什么1-131 大多不获准吧。

请问 newacct 层主还有大家是否知道，增加同时申请 1 131 会延长1 485 的审理时间吗？移民局是先看 1-131 再看 i-485，还是同时分开审理。

你没有看到下一个：

“or

(3) If you are an applicant for adjustment of status, a copy of a USCIS receipt as evidence that you filed the

adjustment application; or”

所以I-485申请者不需要提供任何explanation。

啊，这个 "or" 真是严谨啊！层主很懂的。

麻烦留步comment一下 “增加同时申请 1 131 会延长1 485 的审理时间吗？移民局是先看 1-131 再看 i-485，还是同时分开审理”。
