employer does know how to take advantage of us waiting for GC

after promotion, if what you do now is >50% different than before, then the experience in your current company counts. This is tricky, since it's hard to prove you current task/responsibility is not substantially comparable with previous tasks...but if your employer would like to help, nothing is impossible.

One sure thing is, just to add a "Senior" before title won't sound convincing...

公司自诩用的律师是best in town,可现在那几个等绿卡的人把这个律师恨得牙痒痒！不是因为办PERM需要那么多钱，是这个律师贵，而且估价是往高里给俺们说的。

实话说，我很喜欢很喜欢现在的工作，可想想公司明显厚待印度人（相比中国人）我就气不打一处来！公司老板是美国人，公司里中国人也比印度人多，可tmd我们就不如印度人会negotiate和impress others,就...举个例子吧，现在公司一直在给developer招director,面试的尽是些老印（走的那个director也是老印） ）
