I like this ring, but still think Tiffany is a little pricey, BTW, my co-worker just bought his girlfriend a diamond ring from Hong Kong, it's much cheaper to buy it in Hong Kong, first because there's no sales tax on it, also because competition is fierce in HK. So maybe you could talk with your GG about this. :)
I also tested my GG for the same thing, but I said" 2-3 month salary." So he asked: before tax or after tax? I answered" if 2 month's salary, it is before tax; if 3 month, it is after tax, how is that?" But still, my GG got me a ring that worths his one month's salary:( He is very practical. But I like it very much.
