The issue you have goes beyond the wedding. How will you spend your holidays? How will you raise your kids? Even more long term - how will you be buried? If your BF can't even agree with you on the wedding, then it's going to be hard for him to compromise on the other important things.

非常同意这个mm说的。像lz这种情况要么双方都做些妥协，要么就不理双方父母按自己想的办。我跟lz的情况也是一样，我们做了一点点的妥协，两边传统都加了进去。我父母也是佛教的，从来没听说过结婚要烧香的呀。是拜祖先吗？

在这里顺便问问基督徒的姐妹们，是不是严格来说，基督徒是不能跪拜任何人的？ 包括已故的人，或者还健在的？ 好像婚礼上有跪着敬茶这个仪式，基督徒能做吗？

这个跟长辈敬茶跟宗教没关系。香港广东那边下来的习俗，我朋友里有很虔诚的基督徒婚礼上也有这个仪式。
