米妈乐妈, 我查了下SF downtown 开去 tomales bay oyster 居然要一个半小时, 都是小路. 从那开到napa还要一个小时快半, 也是小路. 好像这样的行程不太实际... 从SF直接去 napa才70分鐘左右.

如果要去吃蚝, day trip好點, 再去point reyes national seashore走走.

另外也可以在城里吃, 这家也是挺有名的, 电视介绍好多次: swan oyster depot, http://www.yelp.com/biz/swan-oyster-depot-san-francisco, 星期天不开; 或是hog island oyster farm在三番ferry building 也有分店. 不用開這麼遠.

妳們覺得怎樣比較好?

My mom just went to Yosimite and she said the waterfalls are very small, not as impressive as she expected.

We like natural bridge park in Santa Cruz. very pretty. if you go a little further, there are tide pools that kids will really enjoy, just need to make sure to go there during low tide

en, i think they only have a best western and a comfort inn. Those smaller Inn/B&B are very nice. you can make reservation on their website directly

there is a nice beach close to half moon bay: http://fitzgeraldreserve.org/visit

if you go during low tide, the rocks are exposed and you can see tide pools, marine lives, etc. kids love it! there is a very short trail right above the beach which has beautiful views of the ocean and some magical cypress forests to walk through.

our shower door is also not ready when we moved in. you can use a adjustable rod and shower curtain. so you dont need to drill holes or anything, very easy. You can borrow ours if you dont have one.

true, at this age, it is very difficult to change. but I think huaqiao is not too bad. when you go back to China yourself, he can handle two kids himself, right? i dont think a lot of fathers here can do that. just take a break when you are tired and i think if you are not doing the work, he will do it
