It is so true to respect and let the kid make decision by himself, otherwise he will never learn how to make a decision later as an adult, 患得患失 will be an enemy.

No matter what consequence the decision brought, parents should love the kid unconditionaly.

As parents, we should remember that we love the little one only because he/she is our child, not because he play good piano or has high score in school....
