Our birthday must be close. (Hannah Feb 26). We had the check up at the same day. Hannah is the other way around. Weight ~17.4 lbs, height 24 inches. Forgot about head measurement. She is a shortie :( Grandma said good things come in small package...
You will feel better if I tell you how much she had yesterday. My hubby took the day off, and went to the checkup with my pp. I could't wait until I got home, so I called him. It passed Hannah's lunch time already and they were still in Babies r us.
-"So, how much did she weigh?"
-(Pause) "25 lbs?"
-"Really?"
-"I don't know. I can't care less about her weight. The doctor said everything is okay."
........
I got home. pp showed me the 5 oz bottle with 2 oz milk in there. "This is all she took today." So, Hannah had only 3 ounces of milk the whole day!! I was pretty upset.
If I remember correctly, menmen is going to daycare 2 days a week. Hannah will start the same day as menmen, 3 days a week. Kind of look forward to it :)
Conclusion: sa da jia + nong cun.
I was thinking about having a cat for the first time. But it's because we are getting mice in the house now.
I saw one the other day in the corner of the stairs, scared the crap out of me... :(
No no. In Philly nong cun.
I know. I would have jumped out long time ago when you guys were talking about play dates.
贝贝又有新视频给大家看了,爬楼梯呀爬楼梯。。。

Beibei is so advanced! Admiring...
Her feet is so long compared to Hannah's chubby feet. Admiring too.
bless Tutu :)
Hannah's first day in daycare. It is my company's daycare. First day of the fall semester. So probably first day for most of the babies.
I dropped her off at around 9 am. One crying baby was in rocking chair fighting to go to sleep, held by the head teacher Ms. Cookie. Ms Cookie was obviously losing her patience and definitely not the nice lady I had met. One baby was screaming in the little chair with seat belt on. He had the bib on, but not want to eat. One baby sitting on the floor crying too. There were probably 6 babies and at least 4 teachers in the room, most them just helping out int he crazy morning I guess.
Hannah was put on her tummy on the floor, pretty quiet(She never like tummy time.). A student teacher was watching her. Apregnant lady helped me to put he feeding stuff away and Ms Cookie, now got the baby asleep, helped me to pu Hannah's crib sheets and diapers away. I stayed for about half an hour, Hannah was the only happy baby in the room except for the one sleeping in her crib.
After lunch, I stopped by to see Hannah again. She was leaning against a pillow with pacifier in her mouth. ( I am not sure if I should tell the teacher not to use pacifier unless she is sleepy. I pulled out her pacifier and gave her a toy. She started to giggle again and every time a caregiver talked to her, she would looked at her with her smile and giggled...
I do like those young teachers, they know how to talkt to baby much mor than I do. For example, I realized I often asked Hannah"What did you say?" Those yound ladies can always reply Hannah with something.
Hannah: #%%^%^
Teacher:yeah?
Hannah: &^#*^$
Teacher: en hm
Me laughed: She really wants to talk!
Teacher: yeah. You got a lot of stories to tell us.
Hannah:%(*^^#
Teacher: Really?
Hannah: en hm
Everybody laughed!
Can any one teach me how to post a picture HERE? Why can't you upload pictures from computer? Where do you put the picture to make a link?
Thanks a lot!
Bless Tutu and Langlang! Bless Superzhou mm.
aa? Did I make a mistake? I mean her upcoming surgery..
My hubby likes to buy off-season fruit. Trying to educate him seasaonal fruits are more natually grown, more fresh, and less likely genetically modified...
牛油果一次吃半个会不会太多了阿?好像这个东西很肥,我怕她吃了肥胖症
我最近后背脊椎那几个骨头疼,好像是抱娃给抱出来的。。。5555555555
Way too much!! Avocado has a lot of calories in it.
我都不sure那些是seasonal的
能给科普一下么?
爱,整天稀里糊涂的没关注过
a? Actually I am not an expert either. But for example, if you can go cherry-picking then it is the seaon for cherry. Another example, if you see a lot of certain fruit with cheap price in the store, then it is probably seasonal and from local. Now peaches from our korean store are delicious and only $1.49 per pound. At Costco, if it is blue berry season (July, August?), the blue berries are from NJ farms, $4.99 a big box; while the other times they can be $9.99 for a tiny package, and they usually come all the way from other country with hot weather...
I found a new vegetable for Hannah. Beets. We had steamed beets tonight. I fed Hannah the juice, she likes it very much. It should give her a lot of irons :)
