1,HOBOKEN，学区一般，PRESCHOOL不错，而且免费。没有CITY TAX. - ( You have children and 2 years later, your oldest child will be in school, do you want to move again? If not, you either move to a neighborhood with good public school, or you send them to private school. Good location to commute to midtown)
2,WETCHESTER, 好学区很多，没有CITY TAX, 居住比较拥挤。(Good public school but need to transfer subway from 42nd street to midtwon. You also need to find an apartment close to Metro North station. Otherwise you need to drive to the station)
3，GREAT NECK,NY, 学区好，没有CITY TAX, 房子相对宽松 ，设施好(Good public school. very close to Chinatown Flushing. need to find an apartment close to LIRR. It is hard to find a parking space close to LIRR.)
4，QUEENS ,FOREST HILL，学区好，PS196， PS101， PS144 都满好，有CITY TAX,房租贵些。(personal comment for living in NYC. If I do not have a car, I will move to Forest Hills. It is very hard to find a parking space on a street. If I have a car, I will prefer to move to North Flushing, little neck, bayside, or Douglaston instead of Forest Hills.
5，HIGH RISE, 房租高，学区一般，PRESCHOOL不错。(highrise is not a town, it is about a building level..I thing the MM wants to say about the building in Hoboken)

If you want to save city tax and you have a car, move to Wetchester(not sure whether you can do local chinese grocery shopping) or Great Neck(this is much close to chinatown or chinese stores).
If you do not mind to pay city tax and you have a car, move to North Flushing, little neck, bayside, or Douglaston (easy to find parking and you can take LIRR) If you do not have a car, Forest Hills is a good choice and you take the subway. Forest Hills is not too far to go to Chinatown, Elmhurst.
