[原创] how long does Jojoba oil last?
I opened a bottle of jojoba oil about a year and half ago. Is it still good? - I remembered reading somewhere on this board that orange flower only lasts a year or so and Lavender approximately two years. However, couldn't find any reference to jojoba oil. Any one? Thanks a lot!

Thanks - That's very helpful! The way I understand shelf life is that if keeping the bottle intact, it can be stored for a couple of years. However, since I opened it and store it in regular room temperature, will it go bad? How can one tell if a bottle of oil goes bad?

Btw, I stored the oil in my refrigerator once and it turned into something solid. If you ever place a jar of honey in refrigerator, you'll understand what I mean ... very interesting.

totally agree - there is no way we know how long it has been sitting in the warehouse. I am curious about: how can you tell if it is no longer good. smell badly? Changed color? If I apply the same rule of sesame oil (btw, I only use it for cooking), then maybe I should taste it, :)?

To be safe, I just ordered another bottle of jojoba oil, along with a few other carrier oil from MRH. This is the first time I ordered from them and I was happy to find that they have labeled the shelf lives.

Here, I copied them below - hopefully it can be of help to people just like me, who is always worried about the expiration dates, [em13]

Jojoba Oil - 2~3 years from date of purchase
Grapeseed Oil - 12~14 months
Evening Primrose Oil - 6 months
Rosehip Seed Oil - 12 months

yeah ... thanks, Frankincense, for pointing it out. However, the bottle did say "months from the date of purchase". - Maybe it's because the product from MRH are produced by the company itself locally?
