I happen to know some info about FIC, it is located on SFU campus, and it is a community college actually. Most of their students are international students (you can see a lot of Chinese young faces around), and they are doing lower level programs and transfer to SFU to finish upper level courses as long as they pass the qualification exams. Basically, FIC has some instructors from SFU, I mean FIC invites some instructors from SFU to teach the courses which are available at SFU main campus the same time. To be honest, it is not really easy to survive in FIC, I mean they do not have statute holiday, since they are open 24/7. But, it is more than that: you have to be very rich, BMW, Benz, or Porsche are very common under their underground garages. A lot of kids from very wealthy families are in this colleges.
