如果同意上面的说法,那么informatics对应的job family是 data engineer (DE).

不太了解data science, 但可以聊一聊informatics. Informatics是借助电脑技术来实现数据的有效利用,信息提取,解答相关领域的问题,提供问题的解决方案,提供决策制定的技术支持。讨论informatics一般要具体到细分领域,因为不同的细分领域的informatics会有行业标准和规范的差异。总而言之,informatics是计算机技术和其他专业学科的交叉领域。

感觉是informatics接近底层数据,需要更多domain knowledge和收集数据。 DS更着重分析与统计CS接近。
