知道附近有banff，但是不知道值不值得折腾一趟，是不是必须租车开去banff呢？求指点

you have to go banff. there are glaciers, and wild bear and moose, lake with snow mountain, the view is just breath taking.

there are special bus/tour goes to the glaciers, imaging you standing on mountain, with 300 ft ice down your foot, and the ice was moving several centimeters per day. The time we went, we have a bear mommy taking 2 little bear walk across the road slowly just in front of our car. Plus, you aren't able to see glacier lakes anywhere. Banff is a most visit. Calgary city it self is just ok. downtown part is pretty. you will get to see it when you have meeting in downtown.
