一直不知道有这个奖，后来读了一些文章后觉得这个奖很有价值，必须拿下。

加拿大总督学术奖是加拿大总督府直接颁发的最高学术荣誉，用于表彰以最高分毕业于各加拿大学校的学生。

一百多年来加拿大仅5万人获此殊荣。

Dear Leaders, teachers and fellow students,

Good morning. I’m honoured and glad to obtain such a great prize.This is a proof of my hard work in the past three years, and it reveals my journey on the long way to becoming a real elite.I’m here today to share my experiences during my high school, and I sincerely hope such plain stories may bering you help and motivation to work hard on your own behalf for your bright future.

In the end summer three years ago, I felt somewhat anxious and helpless, just as the chirping of insects on the trees, in that high school life is completely different from middle school for its freedom given to the students, but at the mean time people may get lost. I had been struggling for whether becoming a musician or an engineering for as long as two years. During the incomplete summer school I decided to found a classical music society and work hard to get good grades on every subjects. As a perfectionist, I discovered a balance between the two. Though I was active to attend those activities and shows, I always remind me not to forget my real duty. I always attempt to enrich my knowledge by every possible chance which in turn enriches my background for university application.

I was not fully aware of the importance of my academic performance before grade 12 and therefore my grades were not the best at that moment. However, please definitely remember,grade 12 is a year of great importance. In the two-way choice process of university application,academic performance and related backgrounds are the most explicit aspects to reveal the strength of a student to one’s dream university. After noticing this, I set my goals, and started to work really hard to satisfy the expectations of Imperial College and Oxford. It does not necessarily mean that one need to do nothing but studying during the year, but to arrange time wisely—Gaming, practising the piano are also important components of my life; on the other hand, making more friends and building good relationships will also serve for a better academic performance.When studying, it’s essential to doubt and persist in critical thinking, after repetitive doubting the knowledge you doubted will be fully understood. In this way, I finally got into Imperial College with good results.、

All I mentioned is my journey of the three years in high school. I hope it is helpful to every fellow student. I don’t mean that you should copy others’ method, but rather make a reference to other’s experience to improve your own tactics. At last, I wholeheartedly hope all of you to become successful in your future life. I also appreciate all those who helped me selflessly on both my academic performance and my life, thanks to your suggestions I can finally be successful. Your suggestions are treasures of my life that I can never lose.

全方位了解，查阅相关资料后，我对拿加拿大总督学术奖有特殊的感觉，想好攻略后先与孩子聊聊，然后再找老婆谈，有种预感，她和我有一样的感觉。

拿高分一直是我的强项，别的不敢说，加拿大学生在拿高分上与我的攻略相比，堪比渣渣，何况是我孩子所在的不入流的学校。

我的物理学不是一般的棒，静力学、动力学、功能转换、电学和磁学，可以说学通了，而且能活学活用，一直很怕物理考试的孩子，经过我的长期辅导，分数一直名列全校第一。

老婆对我的学术认可就是从物理学开始的，因为她是物理系的高才生，如果说在数学上不服我的话，那在物理学上可以说是坚信和崇拜，她旁听了我给孩子辅导物理学后，说我的物理学比她的大学物理老师好。

总督学术奖有多厉害？

在加拿大，总督学术奖并不是所有学校都可以颁发这一奖项，只有学术水平和影响力均获得加拿大联邦政府认可的学校才具有颁发该奖项的资格。

学界一直流传“获得加拿大总督学术奖，约等于与百年来的名人站在了同一颁奖台上”。

要参与。后援团呀，拿加拿大总督学术奖要多付出不少时间和精力的，七门功课门门最高分，从何处而来？就是家长给啊。

我只是举个例子。你有你的，散养也有你能做的。

你可以花些时间和精力去陪女儿，跟上甚至超前了解她的program，你不懂没关系，可以去请教专家和朋友。

我家所有人的开车考牌，是专业教练理论训练，都是我陪练，尤其是陪老婆开车，孩子们很容易陪，老婆最难陪，最后个个都陪成了G牌一次性通过，教练感慨：你的钱很好赚。

我也不比她们的开车技术好到哪里去，但是我开车很安全，陪练时很用心，很耐心，很热心，很细心。

每个家庭都大同小异，而组合起来就会有奇迹。你也会的。

关键的是要与女儿保持接触，及时知道她的需要，常规的事情约定时间一起做，形成习惯和依赖。

我们俩除了能一起看书之外别的她都不带我，出去玩或者散步都和小朋友一起，说我不被欢迎

支持她与小朋友玩，她回来想说什么就当个听众。

我们夫妻常在网上看一些其他同龄小朋友的喜好，比如，爱听什么歌？看什么电影？什么流行呀？都在追什么？玩什么游戏？这样就有共同话题了。

我孩子遇到交通方面的问题，第一时间就是找我。

有一次多伦多地铁突然停运，处在半路上的孩子没了主张，打电话求救。我看孩子没按时回家，早就准备好车子，一接到电话我就出门，便开车边问询，由于我是多伦多通，能在最短的时间到达碰头地点。当惊魂未定的孩子舒适的坐进车内，喝着我准备好的果汁，我这才慢慢教孩子应急处置方案。想起一条谚语：

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach him how to catch a fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

打那以后孩子再也没打电话求救了，我好后悔呀，哈哈，失去一个与孩子接触的机会，只能再找别的机会啦。
