how long does it take to get AP?
我父母人已经在美国。我有个疑问，如果这期间要求补材料，而材料在国内。
如果已经上交了绿卡申请，而ap还没有下来，他们人能回去搞材料吗？

我家老人去年3月申请，这周刚收到批准信，算起来总共花了一年时间吧，唯一庆幸的是年迈的爸妈总算不像我当初那样去3个小时车程的地方面试。

我爸妈2014年3月份提交申请，只是在2014年7月收到了审批延长的信，现在什么消息都没有，有同期的爸妈吗？

2014/4月递交，2014年8月收到延期半年的信, still waiting...in NJ

1. called USCIS 800 number to put in a service request. Received a response a month later which told me nothing.

2. Contacted ombudsman

3. Contacted district congressman. They promised to put in an inquiry with USCIS

I am taking my parents for info pass next week.

I tried all things I can, now just wait.

My mum got her card ordered notice exactly on one year anniversary of turning her application with USCIS. My father's case has been forwarded to local office waiting for interview schedule.

我妈妈境内2014年5月申请，6月补资料打指纹，8月收到处理延迟6个月的信。至今无新的消息。坐标NJ

2015年8月18日更新： 2015年6月15日收到通知 7月15日面试 7月15日面试通过 8月18日收到绿卡
从2014年5月提交申请到收到绿卡，共耗时一年零三个月

妈妈境内申请2014年4月22日快递申请资料，6月补资料，指纹，7月收到AP，8月初收到延期信，2015年4月17收到卡。前后等了一年。
