I would do the same! But never did it myself...

Here are you of my thoughts:

- Make sure there's no annual fee on your checking account.

- Make sure you sign up for paperless billing

- Make sure you have a friend when you can send new card to when you card expires.

我也是这样的。但是发现一个弊端：上次去出差，信用卡被blocked, 打电话给信用卡公司才好用。如果有第二张信用卡会好很多。不过可以在国内办。希望你的运气比我好。
